Whew, RRSP season has ended with a bang, or so it seems to me. The first 60 days of a new year everyone seems to decide that it is now a good time to put some money into an RRSP. That is if you live in Canada. The reality is that your savings should be systematic and done on a weekly or monthly basis instead of in a “yearend” panic.
When you have an active cash flow plan, your savings and spending becomes automated and well thought out. You no longer need to panic about RRSP contributions as everything is systemized. I believe having your RRSP’s come out on a monthly basis is the best way to go.
Have you thought about cash flow planning? Do you know what this could mean for you? I like to describe it as “relief.” You will feel a sense of relief as you no longer are scrambling to make ends meet, your monthly objectives are met and you become in control. If you have questions on cash flow planning and living life in control of your finances, contact me, I would love to share.
