Quote: Money isn’t the most important thing in life, but it’s reasonably close to oxygen on the “gotta have it” scale. Zig Ziglar
This quote is so right on! While it is not and should not be the most important thing in life, money is the key to being able to get the things we need to live. We need it to pay bills, and to feed, clothe and house ourselves. Smart women learn how to take control of their finances after going through a transition and are then able to build new, productive and successful lives.
Thought: The realization that life as we know it is going to change and the fear of not knowing how it will change, sometimes paralyzes a person and makes it easier for them to live in denial. One of the most important things we can do is recognize and accept that our lives are going to change and put together a plan to deal with the changes. We may have to learn how to budget, pay bills, or talk to creditors perhaps for the first time in our lives. The most important thing is for you to take control of your finances. Mastering this spoke of your life will empower you to move forward in all the other areas.
