Less than a month left until 2014. Can you believe how fast this year has flown by? This year had some bends in the road but as the year comes to an end I am feeling much more on track with a few very important life improving details. What I have learned this year, and trust me I am not being cynical, is that money is not the key to happiness. It definitely may play a part, but health and family are much more important. My family, extended and all have had some tricky situations and now that we are almost through the difficult part, I can honestly say that I have actually learned something. Wow, I am not too old to learn!! So I am celebrating this very important milestones and I want to share it with you and hope you will listen if you need to. What I can honestly say that I know is true are these few things.
- “Your work will be there tomorrow, go home and enjoy your family, your dog your cat or whatever it may be. Time flies by too quickly.”
- “Exercise daily. Your body is the only thing you have to carry you through, look after it. Nourish it. Eat wonderful healthy fruits and vegetables. We are all so blessed. Drink lots of water.”
- “Being independent and not having to ask for everything is important. Being self-employed may outweigh the security of a job that takes you off your life’s path of finding or working your purpose.”
- “If you have children, don’ take them for granted, they grow up too quickly and they soon don’t depend or rely on you and we will rely on them soon enough.”
So I am celebrating, not of what I have accomplished this year but what I have learned and my biggest tasks for 2014 will be to take what I have learned and make sure that my goals are in alignment with my new purpose of living in balance of peace and harmony.
